A large land, flat, without infrastructure and used by some tourist buses. During the day there is a police station on the next street. In front of a health post. Calm night. Nearby restaurants
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
We arrived 2 days ago, with the plan of staying here 1 night, no problem the first night, finally decided to enjoy one more as we enjoyed the place! but at 8 pm, someone came knock on rv door, said its a private property and we needed to move now
However, it is not a private property, it's a city land, so we told him we would move in the morning but that we're not driving at night. They insisted a bit, we told them to call the police if it was really their land (because we knew it wasn't true) which they said they would, but they never did.
after 30 minutes, they came back at our door and asked to leave before 8 am next morning, which we did 😉
if you have a big rig, the big parking on the side of the city would be a better option for you, but if ever you have any problems with the police as the last comment said, come here, I wouldn't be scared to come again, even with those guys saying it theirs.
Stayed one night here to visit chichen itza, very quiet and safe, 10mn walking to the pyramids.

Report Check-InGood spot to stay so you can get to Chichen Itza in the morning.
There were 3 kids who came by and wanted to hang out with us while we were cooking dinner. They asked for food and were very curious with the van… they left and came back with a new kid around 10pm. We turned all the lights off and went to bed so they left. Then I woke up at 2am to them climbing over the wall laughing… definitely harmless but a bit much at 2am lol. Probably a one off though!
