A bit past the main June Lake spots is a rise with a large base and a small perch at the top of a rocky incline. The perch could potentially fit a Sprinter, but the large rocks on the incline don't give much width to maneuver. That said, if you can navigate them, the spot is great. For what it's worth, I was able to get up here in my broken-down minivan so other 2WDs should be able to make it if they're careful.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
This place is inaccessible, although the power line spot just before it is still available. They put poles and rocks to block it off and they aren’t removable
Report Check-InThere are poles and rocks blocking this site (you cannot move them, we tried) & it is inaccessible. There is also no where to turn around, so you have to back out around a curve until you reach the first pull off.
Report Check-InI got my 8 foot camper up to the top with 2WD Nissan Frontier. Was able to turn around comfortably. Def windy, but the view is *chef’s kiss*. Very good Verizon LTE.
Report Check-InA couple different options higher up on the overlook but it's windy or various forest roads on the flat where it's more protected. There is some loose dirt and sand but I think ok for most vehicles. Great Verizon and AT&T LTE. Yours to enjoy protect and keep clean 🌲
