Description

2022-08-12...
An employee of the park passed by to tell us gently that overnight parking was not allowed. And the police pass regularly and ticket fee is fairly high…

It's a state park, there's a bunker 223, some trails at the beach and the park. Swimming is not allowed at the beach and dogs too, we spent the night here, There's no signs saying camping is prohibited and the rules of the park don't say so... we are alone at night but busy at daytime... park has fresh water everywhere and barbecue areas ALL FREE! toilet open all night and clean!

Report Check-In

What a nice and quiet place. We did not see any « no overnight parking » signs. We arrived around 10:30 pm and there were three other rv and a few cars. In the morning, we went to the beach (where it is forbidden to swim) and we saw a few dolphins. There is also a bunker from the WWII on the beach. But we were stung on the legs by many tiny flies on the beach.

Parking lot right next to the Cape May Lighthouse, the area was quiet and surprisingly not busy being July 4th weekend. This is located in Cape May Point State Park. We parked towards the back, no one bothered us all night, no signs indicating no overnight parking. . You can even hear the ocean waves and see stars at night

5 🌟. A large parking near the lighthouse at Cape May. It's a park with many trails to do very nice birdwatching. Trails are very easy to walk. We spend the night right next to the entrance of the trails, at the far end of the parking lot, nobody told us anything, and there are no signs forbidding overnight stay. So... it's an A.
