Asked if we could spend the night and the lady couldn't say yes or no so we stayed the night, no problems, very quiet.

Worked well enough for a night. Didn't ask anyone and wasn't bothered. Parked in the back near the adjacent park trailhead. (walking and MTB if you're inclined) Some highway and general traffic noise. Cops came through a few times around midnight, looking up into the park like they were searching for someone. They didn't seem to care about me in my promaster.
