Something not right?

Description

This is an established dispersed camping spot on FR13S97, even has an established campfire. It could probably fit two vans, or a car and tent. It’s not level at all but that’s what leveling blocks are for!

When I came down this road, there were signs warning about needing 4X4, but the road is paved and the spot I chose is solid enough. I made it down in my 2WD Promaster.

There are a few pull outs before this but this feels much safer and less likely to get affected should cars drive by.

Also - I’m getting 2bars LTE on Verizon without my booster.

Still closed and based on the other comments of the spots down below it’s maybe permanently closed.

Gate still closed. And why do I need to add 40 characters for a checkin to work? 😂

Report Check-In

The road was closed because of the snow ! We couldn't go to the place

Report Check-In

This is the first large spot on this road. Nice, quiet spot. After this one another big spot follows. After that a larger parking lot with a pit toilet, but that one has a sign of no overnight camping.

Report Check-In

This is deep woods at 5000 ft elevation. Just tree views at this spot. Established FS dispersed spot past the cattle guard. Was only one other pull off before here, can't tell you what's further on the road. The road is paved and easily accessible in a car, van or smaller RV. Verizon LTE but did have 5G as driving in. AT&T 2 bars but no LTE. Looks like no fire allowed at this spot. Yours to enjoy protect and keep clean.
