Wild camping spot just outside of town. This spot used to be used to dump sawdust from the local mill. Coordinates are for the road that leads into this spot. Turn right immediately after the dump as you're heading up Camp 2 Road. This road is known as Road 1. Keep right at the first fork, and follow to the pin. Approx 2.25 km up this road is the turnoff. Narrow bumpy access road. Big rigs can access this spot, but they will have to watch the sides of their vehicles. Popular spot for dirt bikes and ATVs. It is close to the dump, so if you're there in early spring be very bear aware as the bears make their way toward the dump as they see it as a food source. Used to be used in the summer as a tree planting camp, but after a bear attack it is no longer used. Mitigate bear issues by being clean. Good cell coverage.
