Argentina
Awesome campground right on the lake. Be sure to leave your mark in the shelter. The indoor areas have big wood stoves so you can stay warm and dry. There is a great bakery in town a five minute drive away that has free wifi.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
9000 Pesos pro Person. Interessanter Campingplatz mit schönen Stellplätzen, insgesamt sehr heruntergekommen. Kein WIFI!
Report Check-InThe site is right on the lake and is an ideal starting point for the 5-star Laguna Negra hike. The family-run site is one of the most beautiful, the owners are very helpful, they took us across the small river (broken bridge) on a quad bike. They also take you to and pick you up from town. The $8 per Person fee, is really worth the money.
Report Check-InI spent New Year’s Day in this quirky place buy the lake and couldn’t have been happier. Yes $9,000 is more than other campsites, but this isn’t just any normal campsite. So much history infused in the place, from the common room filled with notes and praise from other travellers to the kooky statues and sculptures littered about the park. Score a wind free day here, and it’s heaven on earth. All other times, it’s still a paradise. And I’ve never camped in a teepee before, novelty factor! The brothers are so kind and generous, I loved it.
Report Check-InWe went there and they ask 9.000 p.p.n Much more than people write one month ago. We decided to leave.
Report Check-InOwner very unfriendly. US$ 10pp ($8 for cash) for foreigners. Argentinians pay Ps 3500. Compulsory check out by 12pm. NOT a relaxed place to stay. We left after one night.
Report Check-InSuper funky place right along the lake. Andres was very nice and we enjoyed our stay. The bathroom and shower situation may be more challenging if very crowded. The common room was cozy and could be really fun with a bunch of friendly travelers.
Report Check-Inwe came to this place a second time, returning from Ushuaia. good to stay. Visit Panaderia La Union in town !!!
Report Check-InCamping is OPEN !!! very nice camping with super friendly host at the beach of Lago Fagnano. Art exhibition included.
3000 ppn with motorhome
It was $2100 per person and no extra fee for the van.
We stayed 3 nights. Hot showers and restrooms were good. There’s a common room with an oven/stove so we were able to cook.
The owners are welcoming and courteous.
Totally would recommend
1500 ARS pp. Great view to the Fagnano lake from the parking spot. Clean bathrooms with hot shower. Common area with gas stove to cook (no pots or pans), perfect shelter from the heavy winds. The room is covered from floor to ceiling with messages from previous visitors. Really good place!
Report Check-InPlaces for the (big) rigs are at the lakefront, so beautiful views of the lake and mountains.
Shelters for tents.
A common room with gas stove (no pots and pans)
Hot shower (which is a luxury itself!)
Well maintained grounds
Super creative stuff to look at and very welcoming and warm owners/staff/family
1500 per person, plus 500 for a car. can put your tent in small shelters to protect it from the wind. showers and toilets are basic but sufficient.
Report Check-Inin total WE where three Times here. all good. dont worry to ask for hot shower Water and/or to Heat the comunal Hut. very funny must See place.
Report Check-InPerfect campground, very nice to be at the shore of the lake. Bathroom was clean and had a nice Hot shower.
Owners are very nice People, you really feel welcome.
The whole feel of the place oozes with creativity and the legacy of the founders.
Do go with it and Enjoy, make the effort to leave a mark in communal room.
Children can go nuts in the huge playground, thumps up all the way!
Open all year around.
Beutiful place and incredible views of the lake and mountains around.
What a fun place! So many cute things to check out. No wifi and no cell signal for us. You'll have to ask to get hot water for the shower. Beautiful lakefront views and potential for walks. Good protection from the wind. 500pesos per person per night. We stayed two nights.
Report Check-InPerfect little place to relax. Very nice owners who've built the ground, facilities and adjacent playground from recycled materials. Hot shower, toilet, Common room. Space for large vehicles and tents.
Report Check-InVery cheap. great spot. we walk to the reserve and saw one beaver swimming. Nice owners
El camping cuesta 200 por persona. Linda ubicación. Los dueños muy agradables. Caminamos hasta la reserva y vimos un castor nadando!
Report Check-InI came through twice once on the way to Ushuaia and again on the way back. we lived it so much we stayed an extra night. The people are fun and it's an interesting just to see! Bathroom description is accurate but the women's is much better than the men's. Price was still 200pp and 100 for a wheelbarrow full of wood for the Asado. Ask Roberto for his carniciera recommendation it was well worth it!
Report Check-InWe enjoyed this place a lot. Roberto is very friendly and helpful. His place is surely unique and described many times.
Don’t come here for the beauty of the bathrooms/shower but the nature.
You sleep to the sound of the waves. When you are at the beach facing the lake walk to the right. At the end of the beach a trail opens and you are actually entering Reserva Laguna Negra. Here you can continue walking another few kilometers on a very beautiful path with lots of interesting postings about the formation of this place, fauna and birds. And best of all, you probably don’t meet a soul.
Amazing location for a camprground and for Patagonian prices quite cheap. Toilets and showers not in the best condition and kitchen not at all equipped. Only one pan and a stove. But hey on most Argentinian campgrounds there is not even a stove or a common room (which is due to the oven cozy and warm).
If your tent is small enough (1-2p) it'll fit under the rain and windshelter on every site.
Nice place with a super friendly owner Roberto. Warm shower and warm kitchen.
Report Check-InAwesome nice place. Eduardo, the owner, Is really nice man and Is the best option if You loves the peace and the creative Places. the price now Is still ARS $200 PP.
Report Check-InVery nice camping made of lots of re(up)cycled stuff. Hot water, clean showers, warm refugio with kitchen stove, nice lake nearby and many recycled materials made into an art.
Report Check-InGreat campground. Is now 400 Pesos for a family of three incl. van. Roberto and his family are great and thoughtful hosts. Everything is as described. The bathrooms are clean (not so much the women‘s), but the showers are not great, the wood around the bathtube is all soaked and soft and you need to make sure not to fall, however, they are hot and in the men‘s shower you even have some pressure. For kids it‘s a paradise with the biggest and most creative playground in ARG.
Report Check-InThe landscape and the lake are beautiful but the camping was for our opinion not nice. The toilets and bathrooms are prety dirty.
Report Check-InNice big, flat place. Buildings, works of art and children's play equipment built predominantly with recycled materials. There are "tipis" made of wood for small tents, in which tents can be placed against wind and cold. Every "tipi" also has electricity. There is a common room with many thanks from the campers. Here is also an oven and a gas stove for free use.
Sanitary facilities are clean and can be heated.
Recommendable! Already because of the works of art.
Cool place. Would recommend a overnight here. Nice view to the lake and mountains.
Love it here!
Was really cool here. He upcycled a lot of stuff. Hot Shower. Kitchen. Very interesting place. No WIFI. Helped us with a compressor to fill up our almost flat tire.
Report Check-InAmazing place, friendly owners, clean, as described. 6000 crates and 16.000 bottled and many other recycled items used to build this place, the adjacent playground for kids and grown-ups. Check out the airplane, helicopter and all the other art. Glad I stopped here, a place to remember.
Report Check-InGood Camping, but toilet and shower need overhaul. Only one shower!?! 160ap pP.
Report Check-InVery cool place on the lake. Bathrooms dated but clean with paper. Very Hot water in showers. Playground across the road free when staying. Our kid loved it!
Report Check-InBest place ever seen, Roberto, the owner, is a “unicum”, every time friendly with lot of fun and never had problems. The place is at the lake, you find sheltered spots for tents and Rigs. Experience the art of wood or metal. Electricity, water potable and hot showers (toilets and showers a little bit simple). Highly recommend!
Report Check-InOne of the best. Very friendly owners. Beautiful scenery right at the lake.
Report Check-Inreally nice and clean place! windy, of course. the landscape is amazing.
Report Check-Ina bit of a shabby place but it's nice and fun. the showers are very hot but a bit of a contraption. the kids play ground is fun but also a bit broken. overall we liked thus place and the owner is very nice. we paid $160 pppn including kids and stayed 2 nights.
there's water and electricity at sites and flakey LTE CLARO service. oh and our dog was welcome offleash at all times.
Report Check-InGood campsite on the lake with beautiful views. Friendly owner, clean quirky place. fire pits, hot showers, and clean bathrooms. As we have found recently with the new season, all prices have increased and this place is now $320ARG for 2 pp/night includes electricty.
Report Check-InThe price has gone up to 150pp now. Dogs are only allowed if they are leashed the whole time.
Report Check-InWe camped here for 6 days to recover from colds, very relaxing sat in he caravan overlooking the lake. Very friendly.
Report Check-InWell worth a visit to see what has taken Roberto 26 years to create.
Report Check-InThis is really an amazing place you should not miss! Hot shower is available.
Report Check-Invery nice camping al recycling arts. nice owner very helpfull. last camping with hot shower. .. there homemade but everything was clean! last camping to ushuaia with shower! because in ushuaia there are no showers any more!
Report Check-InAmazing view on the lake, very friendly owner that set up a fire at night and in the morning to heat-up the kitchen/living room. We paid 200 pesos for 2 persons and a car for one night. Worth the visit!
Report Check-InThis place is so cool. Very beautiful place right at a lake. There is a lot of art everywhere, all made by the owner. A nice warm sheltered area and tipis to put your tent in for shelter against the wind.
Opposite of the camping there is a large artsy structure on which you can walk and have a look around, very cool.
Bathrooms so so but functional.
Report Check-Innice location and very friendly people. 100 ARP per person per night. they have hot showers and a heated shalter/living room with stove.
Report Check-InA must stop on the way to or from the end of the world. Delia & Roberto are warm friendly people and very helpful. Roberto is motoquero too and checked for us with nat. police if we can leave Arg with our 2 Bikes via Paso Rio Bellavista. We'll try this tomorrow in direction parque pinguino (Chile)and hope there's some adventure left in TdF and not only boring tarmac cruising.
Report Check-InNow 100 Pesos per person and night. Very nice place to stay! Directly at the Lake Fagnano
Report Check-InPrevious poster has described this place well. Since there are no campgrounds in Ushuaia and the hostels are really expensive there, we used Camping Hain as our base for a day trip to Ushuaia.
We really appreciated the woodstove heated kitchen and the wind shelter for our tent.
Ótimo Camping. Pagamos 60 pesos por pessoa. Banhos quentes e aceitam cachorros.
Report Check-InLove this campground. Showers were hot. Toilet paper provided. Teepees for wind protection. Very eclectic in a fun homemade kind if way. Owners are super nice. Dogs allowed. no vehicle charge. 60 pesos for me and my pup.
Report Check-In60 pesos per person. Nice campsite with good shelter. Showers were not really warm. The place is worth taking a look around, lots of homemade art :)
Report Check-InThe2Dutch. Increased price 60 P P/P shower was cold, but may be to early in the morning. Bathrooms not very clean.
Report Check-In60 pesos per person per night. Hot showers in evening. Great tent camping with the sites having a fogon and a wind shelter like a teepee that you could put a tent in (ours is too big). The owner, Roberto is a great guy and very friendly and helpful. Great lake access with hiking trails and trout fishing if you want.
Report Check-InJust great to see 'the art' on this place. Perfect shelters from wind and rain. Great place to stay!
Report Check-InA very interesting place to stay. There is 'junk art' everywhere. Right next to Lago Fahnano, with hot showers. Wooden wind breaks to put your tent in. Kitchen area. 50peso per perSon
Report Check-InGood place to stay. 50 pesos per person. Great views of the mountains.
Report Check-InAwesome campground right on the lake. Be sure to leave your mark in the shelter. The indoor areas have big wood stoves so you can stay warm and dry. There is a great bakery in town a five minute drive away that has free wifi.
Report Check-InOwner Roberto is very friendly. Campsite is full of arts! Very nice!
Price:75 ARG Peso
Report Check-InAmenities: 4.5 / cost:3 / quality: 4. Great campground set on the scenic shores of Lago Fagnano.. Slow wifi from the neighboring cabanas business available in the fogon/cabin.. Many sites have windbreaks and the RV sites are on the shoreline. You can also bush camp along the lake shores further down the road if you don’t need services.
