Something not right?

Description

This mall has been closed/ abandoned for two years. There are massive parking lots all around it that are open. We slept close to the in-N-out because that is where we had dinner but you can really go to any of the huge empty parkings. There was another big semi sleeping in the lot next to us. Pretty quiet! No signs.

Report Check-In

CLOSED. I've been staying here off & on for a couple of months. Just got a visit from a tow truck driver telling me that overnight parking is no longer allowed, as they are demoing the mall to build housing.

Report Check-In

Stayed on a Tuesday. Was very quiet and had no issue. Stayed again on Friday and had some kids pull on out handles at 4am. They meant no harm but kept us awake for a bit

Report Check-In

I’m surprised at the road noise after everybody reported how quiet it is here. I parked by the Dutch brothers coffee and the In-N-Out maybe the other side of the mall is more quiet. There’s a major road at this side of the mall and the traffic didn’t get semi-quiet until midnight. I am a single woman traveling alone, and this place is not sketchy at all. I didn’t see one homeless person and there’s lots of big box stores all around. would recommend for a night.

Report Check-In

A nice quiet place to sleep. We stayed one night and had no issues. Close to restaurants and shops!

Report Check-In

A nice quiet place to sleep. We stayed one night and had no issues. One other van was here as well. There was a cop parked on the other side of the mall parking lot but they didn't do anything.

Report Check-In

This mall is still abandoned. There are a few solar powered temporary lights, but otherwise this parking lot is extremely dark at night. I parked over on the side where In-n-Out is. We arrived in the afternoon and saw a few other cars parked there. We left our bus there and went out for dinner in Tempe. When we came back the lot was completely empty. Nobody knocked or came around, and we left at 8am the next day. Overnight a Semi had come and parked there. The area didn't seem sketchy, and there are a few restaurants right next to it.
