Description

The main road of this village is a marked track right on the hard-packed sand, and runs the length of the beach. It's off season and super quiet so we pulled up right by the 'roadside', on the beach, and enjoyed a caipirinha or two whilst watching a storm come in. No facilities, but quiet and beautiful.

Loving it here. The M&M camping a 20 second walk away has let us use the bathroom, and we’ve chipped in a bit to help them out. The view is amazing our the front window as we’ve parked directly facing the ocean at the coordinates. It’s been safe.

There’s good Claro coverage and decent Tim

Thanks for the spot

Wow, one of the best places we stayed on the coast between Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro! Very Tranquilo, calm sea to swim, beautiful view on a few islands and the mountains. The sand is hard enough for big rigs even the schoolbus drives here. Few restaurants at walking distance. Only downside were the stinging mosquitos and flies. Besides that we felt safe and had a great time here. Even saw dolphins swimming!

This is is a huge and absolutely beautiful bay with shallow water very safe to swim. It is worth to be visited! I had parked at almost the the end of the beach where the few houses of the citizens are and felt safe. Ok, it is after high season and a bit remote, so not an interesting place for „gangsters“.
The only one thing to worry about is high tide. It’s just a few days before full moon and the water can approach quite close to the car due to the narrow beach … a look in the local tide table might be useful. It’s not so dangerous, the wheels might be touched a bit of seawater. It definitely will not be flooded!!!

DANGEROUS - This beach is dangerous, do not sleep here. Two men with a dummy weapon (thankfully) waited for the door to be opened to attack us. Luckily we were able to put them out but we had to fight. Do not park on isolated areas, close your vehicles well and keep your eyes open.

Parking on the beach sand in all its length, which is very firm, allowing the traffic of small and large cars without problems. Without facilities, only cold showers released in some kiosks and these charge for the use of the bathroom ($ 3) if not consumed on site. We spent 2 nights in front of Rancho do Siri, because it has a kiosk light facing the beach, as it has no streetlight and is totally dark at night, which allows to see a beautiful starry sky if the weather is open. Very quiet and a good feeling of security due to being a small village.

Beautiful place, we stayed 2 days on the beach on winter, very peaceful on this time of the year. There's a shower on the beach.

Paradise! No facilities as the others said, but quiet beach and we were not disturbed even though we parked up next to the 'road'. Beautiful views out onto the bay.

Parked next to trees right on beach. Hard packed sand is easy to navigate. Warm water and nice cool breeze while we were here. Outdoor shower at bar/restaurant and also toilet for $3R. Wish we could have stayed longer!
