Stayed here for one night. It was a great free spot. We drove all the way along the top road area that was for cars and found a secluded spot at the end of it. Water was really shallow and warm. A lot of motorcycles came through there but no one ever bothered us.

Really great beach to stay at. Our kids played in the water all day. Quiet felt safe. Google maps brought us the wrong way to a dead end road with a gate. The beach itself is well marked on the road.

QUIET BEACH!!!

Made it in our 41ft/13m 22,000lb/10000kg skoolie! Locals were great. Some said it’s unsafe here but got deserted around 10pm with some adolescent youths revving their dirt bikes. No problem for us. Didn’t last long enough to be a problem. Beach is PERFECT for kids. It’s like a kiddie pool. Super shallow slope so you have to walk really far out to get deep. We didn’t even monitor the kids past a few looks here and there. Ages 4 and 5. Because of the shallow slope the waves are inches tall. But on low tide 3am/pm while we were there, about shin deep the ground turns to mud. The ONLY downside to this beach.

Also if you are EVER worried about safety. There is a large gate at the roadway. The guard will watch your rig overnight while you sleep free. Just ask him.

If you have kids and want them out of the house all day this is a perfect spot for you.

There is a public garbage dumpster at the roadway. And one kilometer up is free public drinking water in a blue barrel high up on the right hand side as you are driving to the spot. Left if leaving.

The police drove by at least once a day. We stayed 4 nights. Highly recommend. Tico only minus a few gringos. Actually the group of gringos who lived close said they were shocked to see white people on this beach.

great place to sleep. the beach is quite clean. presence of tree for shade. very calm night and super sunset. tips: park at the bottom of the track (no one will disturb you) Lots of locals on weekends but super friendly. Lovely place

Don't come here if you want to sleep, this place is a small dusty road between the beach and the mangrove, you have to park along the road and a lot of people are going each way day and all the night. And a lot of people are coming here during the night making a lot of noise.

Nice and quiet night. Flat spots right in front of the beach. We saw the police patrolling the beach during the night but they didn't ask us anything. The raccoons are patrolling as well.

Be careful, some policeman went to see us at 3 a.m. ( they checked us and verified our passports )
A lot of people went in the beach during the night, locals went there to have fun.

This place is located in Punta Morales and is easy to arrive by any kind of transport, this beach is secure, the local people are coming around to have fun and the police is passing all the time. good luck 😉🤙🏾
