pull out on the side of the road, marked for parking but no one else came along. couple minute walk down a trail brings you to picnic tables and fire pits. be careful the trail is a little steep towards the end and very slippy when wet (that's what she said.) Picnic area has great views of the lake.
at night there's zero traffic and slept great. maybe a few cars an hour during the day. very quiet.
had 1-2 bars ATT and was good enough for me.

Lil sketchy, but legal to sleep here. These pull offs are known boondocking spots, plus they are plentiful all around the reservoir. Won’t get in trouble with the law, but didn’t sleep much because of the area. Would spend more than a night, just pass through.
