Nice, quite place, beautiful spot but we’re assuming locals got mad from campers and reported it… we camped here late April, no bylaw sign saying “no camping or overnight parking”, we come back today and what do you know. There’s a sign saying exactly that.
Report Check-Innear the beach, really good spot, easy to find
but "no camping no Overnigth parking" sign
we saw it only in the morning (late arrival at night) few cars passed or stayed a bit but nobody come to bother us
Was an ok place. Got in on a Thursday night and there were a few folks but most left. But at 2:30 am a loud bus/camper came in and ran its engine till 4:30ish. Second night some young folks came down for a beach fire but was better then the bus. Has fire pit and a nice view. Just lots of folks come through I found
Report Check-Invery nice small place on the lake side. a lot of locals Take theirs dogs. space for 3 to 4 small Cars Not longer than 3 m each.
Report Check-InSmall wild, nature camp 5m from the beach of Nanoose Bay! Big Cedar, Maple and Douglas Fir trees provide protection from wind and sun. A fire pit on the beach under a tree with a kids swing. An absolute treasure among busy rest areas and Walmart parking lots! Very tent friendly, quite private. Birder's paradise as it's right at the estuary. Keeping it low key and clean will be the deciding factor in it staying available...
