Just across from the Elephant rock and below other rock formations. The security people at the Elephant Rock pointed us to this place to overnight. Nice and Quiet, rare as we are here during Ramadan.

What a cracking spot! Your drive to the rock with the tourists. If you go to the carpark you should be able to get a car photo of the bays are not full. You can walk it through the fence for a pic from there too! The place to stay is to the left as you head to Elephant Rock. A large expanse of ground (watch for the barbed wire) to the mushroom rock under the rock eye! It makes sense when you are there. There is rubbish around sadly and there is music from the Salt Cafe under the Elephant Rock, but to too loud to get some sleep. You are set back enough not to be disturbed by the tourist traffic.
