As of March 2023 - nothing here on a Saturday, but rope and man were there on Sunday.

Right before reaching Las Nubes, locals have placed a rope across the road & are asking for a toll to enter, which apparently supports road maintenance. They requested 100p per person, but we gave 80p total and they seemed happy enough.
For what it’s worth: if you camp at the first site labeled on iOverlander (slightly south of the Centro Ecoturístico), you actually avoid this toll AND get to camp for free.

We went to Las Nubes, but there was no toll.
We paid $130 pP for camping at the Ecoturism.
This toll is up and running. They asked for $200p for the 2 of us. We gave 100 to pass. Then we paid another 200 to camp at Las Nubes.
Report Check-InUpdate - it wasn’t there when we drove in on Saturday morning, but when we drove out on Sunday morning, there was a rope across the road and a guy there wearing a “police” hat. He didn’t ask us to stop, but perhaps he would have done if we were driving the other way.
