Same info as before. Canada is not in their list of countries so you’ll have to put your vehicle as a USA vehicle to use the online system…but maybe you are feeling adventurous and want to put in that you are from North Korea because that country is in their system😂.

We did not get a window sticker but the cameras now recognize our license plate.

As previously said, no cash. You need to go the booth on the right and a woman will attend you to register the telepeaje. There is wifi so you’ll do it on the phone and she will give you the eectronic tag. You tell her where you go and she will tell you how much is it and charge it on the tag. You can then Just drive through the gate. Super easy !

There is a ticket machine here.
You can top up - only passport number and credit card is needed.
And you can register - you need name, passport number, license plate number, telephone number and email address. Then the sticker with an RFID-Code is issued by the machine. Then scan the sticker and you can top up.
Super easy!

Still free for motorcycle's today. If you're in a car/van you need cash from the ATM in Frey Bentos

The QR/online form (posted at the booth on the side of the road) didn’t accept our information. We parked and did it all in person. Womp womp womp - the small queue & completing the form took about 20/30min. Card only

Was told to park. Then go into office (there may be a queue). Took all my details and credit card and provided a toll sensor (sticker) you place on the windscreen. You need to say where you are going and they charge your for that itinerary. To Montevideo was like 35 dollars

This toll booth no longer accepts cash. You must create an account online and register a credit card. We have not done this yet. Tried to do it online, not possible. Would not accept our info. Parked and went to window. Purchased a window sticker. No cash accepted. Put sticker on window and proceed through. Good luck. Your experience may vary.

This almost caught us, I'm so glad this warning is here! We really struggled to find somewhere to get money out, the only ATM we could find was in Fray Benton so worth detouring via the town before heading to Mercedes. If anyone knows of a more convenient ATM, please add!
