From here you can take a boat to visit the UNESCO site James island/Kunta kinteh. Official prices are:
- 800 per boat up to 5 people (about 20mn to reach the island)
- 200 pp for "community" service
- 200 pp for the museum
- children under 10 are free
- guide to be negotiated.
We liked the 2 big trees we were parked under so much that we stayed to spend the night. at first the kids were a bit annoying (insistant "give me") but then they shared an activity with our own kids (making bends necklaces) and they were very nice !
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
