Description

This area was recommended to us by a security guard at the Walmart/Save-On Foods parking lot (who had personally stayed here himself). It is across from the municipal beach park and next to the police station so it is very safe and secure . Parking under bridge,

Report Check-In

Wanted to stay but found a van that had tickets on its windshield for overnight parking. You might get away with it but not worth the risk

Do not bother with Nelson. Not a tourist friendy town. Spend your money elsewhere. Pretending you're homeless sleeping under a bridge is the only place to park. Campgrounds close early, no rest area, not even Walmart wants you. We parked on a street but the the train blares his horn the entire way through town. Thought it was a freedom convoy....

Report Check-In

It’s a place to stay in town, just that, and nobody seems to mind a few people staying here. You’ll want some good curtains though and select one of the side spots close to the trees, as the light is quite bright at night. Train came by once at night, nothing too bad

Report Check-In

Did stay there one night. No one else all night. The park had washrooms which were relatively clean.

Just know that the bridge does echo a lot of sound every time a truck goes over and trains will blow their born when passing through no matter the hour which can be a bit surprising. I did sleep great though as it is quiet after traffic hours.
