Latest Check-Ins

Clean and felt safe, but no other cars parked on the street overnight so I felt like I stood out. Even so, no one bothered me. Eureka has a high crime rate a struggles with homelessness and drug use—this was one of the only parts of town where I felt safe sleeping in my car.

Very clean, well kept area. Extremely nice park next to the zoo. I agree with the comment a couple down, I would explore some other streets nearby. I was surprised how busy this street was all the way until midnight (on a Saturday) and these parking spots are on the road. It’s 8am now and lots of cars and people walking around. Overall, a clean and safe area!

We stealth camped one night here on the road next to the zoo's maintenance building. New, clean bathrooms nearby opens at 8am I think. Sequoia Park with tons of trails was the perfect place to walk my dogs. The area was very well kept and safe.

Stayed the night here in our Skoolie. W st is a busy street from 7am-11pm. I would stay off of Glatt st. next time.
Next to a park the Zoo a cool natural walk area and there’s public bathrooms if needed. Phone coverage is good.

Report Check-In

Crashed a night on the side street right in front of the zoo. Light traffic and a few dog walkers but that was about it. Left early since there is a school right there. No bothers no signs no knocks

Report Check-In

We stayed in the parking lot across from the Zoo. First night we were alone. There was a little traffic noise. The next there was some noise from the elementary school. But no one bothered us. The second night there where a few other people park. The lot started filling up in the morning with park goers.

Report Check-In

We parked in the parking lot across from the front of the zoo entrance. No one bothered us. A lot of construction noise very early. Other people sleeping in vans in the area around the park. Park has sequoias and is so stunning! Also has bathrooms that were very clean. Recommend Ramona’s for breakfast.
