Clean, quiet campground. Flush toilets and Showers are included in the $30 fee (same price for hookups or dry camping). 2-3 bars of Verizon signal. Campground offers WiFi but I didn’t use it.

There’s no water access, but there is a limited view of the lake with full views of the surrounding mountains. Several walking trails begun at the campground but do not connect all the way to the fabulous day use area.

Beautiful spacious state park. Large spots some back-in, others pull trough. Electric and 50 apms if you wish = $30. Spots have picknick tables with shade. Shower blocks.

dump station open, water available!

We phoned ahead but it was full. We drove there anyway and there were still spots available. From the 15th of October you can make reservations apparently but don't know how.

UPDATE - August 6th: dump station is now open but no rinse or potable water as yet.

As described in May. DUMP STATION still closed. Got here on 4th of July and still got a spot in Loop A as there were at least 6. Lake not safe right now due to an algae bloom infestation. $30 a night with hook ups for non residents. Large sites not crammed in next to each other. 4 bars T mobile 5G. There is a weak WiFi in some locations but only 10 mins free daily IF you can connect. Tip: sites 1 and 11 on loop A have the best shade.

Nice place, just 10 minutes from Carson City. Some highway noise, nights are quiet. No reservations, first come first served, but sign says reservations coming soon. A few sites have partial shade, most don't have shade. Some sites have shaded picnic tables. Clean and tidy campground. Rangers and hosts make the rounds. Loop A, full hook ups. Loop B no utilities. Water spigots can be found along the loop road. Mid-May and both loops are packed full. There was one space left in Loop B when I arrived at noon. Noisy neighbors, loud music, but they settled down eventually. Quiet hours 10p-7a. Sites are clean and mostly level. There are bugs, lots of them. Bath houses with unisex push button shower located in Loop A and B. Shower was hot/cold, not consistent. All bathrooms are unisex. Dump station is closed. Dumpsters and trash cans are located at entrance and near the bath houses. Verizon LTE 3 bars. Beautiful scenery. The day camp area is spectacular. There's a beach area and the lake water is nice and cool, refreshing. Birder's paradise, bring binoculars. I would definitely stay here again.

Love this campground! $20/night for non-residents with no hookups. Potable water all over the campground (that you can hook a hose to). Super clean, beautiful surroundings, clean bathrooms and showers. Highly recommend!

A great little Nevada State Park. $15 per night for Nevada residents. I stayed here simple because I wanted to use the shower in the morning as it was Easter Sunday and had family and friends BBQ to go to in Carson.
This makes me consider getting an all access pass to stay free in the state parks.

Quiet campground, did not hear any other campers, but it was not busy due to the Month and Temperture. Bathrooms were very clean, with a full-time camp host to maintain. The host sells firewood for a 'donation of $5 if you need it. $20 for Non-residents. Plus $10 if you want power. Water at all sites. Some water sites were closed due to the winter weather.
