We stay here one night and we had a really quiet night. We ask the locals and they told us no problem to park here for the night

Beautiful sunrises and sunsets at this beach and water was great for swimming. There are paid bathrooms during the day but they normally close them at night. We talked to the guy by the coconuts about using the bathrooms at night, he said they’re closed at night but I think he was empathetic because we have 2 young kids and he ended up keeping it unlocked. The only problem we had here were these little bugs called no-see-ums/biting miges/Ceratopogonidae that came out early morning. They are so small they made it through the mesh in the screen of our rooftop tent and were biting us all over! Because of this we only stayed one night. Wouldn’t be a problem with vehicles that are more enclosed.

Safe and best place in Ometepe! Lots of space for even big rigs. No facilities, but free.

Best place in ometepe. we spent 5 nights here without problems. lot of space. become crowded around sunset but very quiet during the day and night. be careful on way back to the main road if you are higher than 2.50m, so take the left one and no problems.

Very nice spot. Super quiet at night as you’ll be the only one. Few dogs barking in the evening. Can see a beautiful sunset. Windy

beautiful place, big space to park few van also good for big rigs.
windy nice shade.
just be careful I have left my hammock hung on a tree and somebody stole it!

Popular overland parking spot. We were four vans altogether. Nice spot to watch the sunset, breezy/windy, and access to the bar/restaurant/banos at the point. Plenty of room for big rigs, tents, all on the lake’s edge. We did have not pay for the parking but we did buy a beverage and support the locals

Superbe endroit avec magnifiques couchers de soleil. Tranquille, petits bancs au bord de l'eau.

Stunning place with beautiful sunsets. Quiet, small benches at the edge of the water.

Bel endroit pour passer la nuit et se baigner. Apres le coucher du soleil tout le monde s en va. Toilettes pour 10 cordobas. Endroit tres calme au bird de l eau peu de moustiques grace au vent.

Camping sauvage en toile de tente sur la plage, lieu tranquille, magnifique couché de soleil!
Petite cabane, tables et restaurants.
Le soir après le couché de soleil il n'y a plus personne, c'est très calme.
Possibilité de rester sur le parking avec un Van ou un 4x4.
