Description

Water spigot with threads at a picnic pavilion at Jacobson Park, near the playground. My hose wasn’t long enough, so I just drove up on the grass to get close enough. No one seemed to notice or mind. It’s right next to a drinking fountain, so I assume it’s potable. I’ll report back if I have any issues.

There is another water fill point at the boat dock that is really easily accessible with your rig. You can park right next to the tap!

Good spot for filling up water and taking a fresh dip! We used the water fill facility near the boat inlet place. TIP: get a KFC Bucket and sit nicely by the water.

There is an even closer water spigot in the park to the east of the lake right near Shelter 7. It’s 15ft from driveway and easy to screw a 20ft hose and fill away. It’s an old school style press handle but the flow is awesome.

There is indeed a spigot (no hose) but you really do need to drive clear across the park lawn to connect. Not opportune. We have a lower riding sprinter & there was no big dips in the lawn so it was ok, but felt a bit inconspicuous driving up to it. no one asked us to leave though. will do in a pinch but I'd assume they don't want everyone driving through the lawn.

Report Check-In

found a new water spigot at the rental boat ramp because the one near the playground had a pad lock on it.

Report Check-In

Water tap has a pad lock on it now, not accessible.
