Latest Check-Ins

Report Check-In

We got sent away by a man from the municipality around 21.00, he said that its prohibited to sleep here.

Best place to stay in town. Safe and beautiful landscape. Spent 3 days here. The downside is that due to high season it gets pretty crowded by locals from around 3pm-8pm. So keep that in mind :)

Convenient place to stay. Due to the several warning signs around town (van break ins) we did not leave our vans unattended for one second. Lots of people show up to watch the sunset, otherwise it’s a quiet place.
The wind can get quite strong, therefor the waves as well.

Report Check-In

We stayed here for 2 nights but we never left the van unattended. On a saturday night, lots of cars coming to watch the sunset but they all leave after it. Very windy at night. First night we parked on the beach and the other under the three which was better. We did not have any problems but did not feel very secure leaving the van alone either

Report Check-In

We spent three nights here. Very sunny in the afternoon, easy walk into town and fellow overlanders (semi-permanent resident Argentines) were also in the same parking lot. Lots and lots of wind, but beautiful! We felt safe leaving the van during the day, but we made sure to come back before sunset. Great free spot!

Report Check-In

We stayed here for 3 nights ! The sunsets are incredible with a view overlooking the mountains and the city. There’s was lots of other overlanders so felt safe. Parked all the way to the right so it was a bit more quiet but on the weekends gets really crowded. Perfect to walk to the city by the boardwalk.

not very safe as all Bariloche but we left the van here for an afternoon, warning our overlander neighbours before and nothing happened. but do not let any valuables in your van! the view is beautiful and the place is quiet. so by far the best place to stay in the City

Report Check-In

very nice beach. beautiful views over lake and town. many overlanders, should be safe. many locals driving around all the time.

funny thing, we left a bucket 🪣 next to the van overnight and it was gone in the morning with some other stuff. so maybe do still be careful a little bit 🙂

Good place to stay in Bariloche, great views of the lake, which can also be used as a water source. Can get windy. By far the busiest with other Overlanders we've seen in all of Patagonia!

Report Check-In

Best (maybe the only) place to stay for the night. You stay right by the shore and there's plenty space to park.
We stayed 2 nights there and there are other Motorhomes there as well.
