According to the guys here there are no limits in Ushuaia. They sent half of the queue to a new office 100m away (not on Google maps) as they had some system issues and needed to wait one hour before the second window could reopen.

After 3 attempts with system restarting etc. they gave up and sent everyone away saying that the system was down in all of Patagonia. I went to the new store where the system worked and there was no queue.

it’s saturday, 11am and we could go immediately. there were two people behind us when we were done. pretty good timing and quick service, paid €130 and got 100k ars

Works perfectly. Opened monday - saturday from 9:00 - 22:00. We were there on tuesday 12:30, got €300 and waited for 20 minutes

Easy pick up. Bring your passport and get your money. we got 500€ without a problem.

we came in after 8PM and were the only ones at the WU. They only had 100s and 500s left so we got our 80.000 and felt like we just completed a major drug deal. During the day the line stretches all the way outside of the store.

Came here at 20:40. We weren’t sure if there were limits so my husband and I each separately took out 80.000 pesos. Worked perfectly. Unlike some other Western Unions that would allow us to use passport copies, here we had to use our real ones.

- Monday, 11am : lots of people and no money left.
- Monday, 4pm : not a lot of people, only 20 000pesos per person available.
- Tuesday, 9am : a lot of people but money was delivered and we got to retrieve all the money we needed after waiting for 2h.
Opening hours are currently : 9am to 6pm.

Another western union, bigger than the one in the town so you might stand a better chance at getting money out here, but expect long queues.

Open: Mon - Sat, 9am-10pm

Apparently no limit for Arg pesos
