Quaint little RV park, has hookups, shower, bathroom, but no Wi-Fi. Cash only $20
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
We stopped to have a shower and can confirm the delightful characters of Linda and Judie. The showers are rather run down but perfectly functional. Linda offered both of us showers for $5 but we insisted on paying that much each. This place is a gem!
Report Check-InQuiet little rv park, linda was super nice and welcoming. We took a site with electricity only for 10$! We slept great and felt safe.
Report Check-InSimple RV park, lovely lady named Linda (97 yo) runs the place. $20 night for full hookups. You do hear some road noise, but it’s a great stop over. Will keep as a go-to place in future, if for no other reason than to support Linda who is a gem ! Once parked her first question is “do you want to go to Alaska with me ? “. Hell yes ! She homesteader in Kenai Peninsula for 73 years before buying a nasty little piece of I-10 in 1984. She arrived with 4 RVs, locals said she & her crew constituted a campground ….so she built one. Arrived in winter so trees barren, and it’s a simple place, but can’t beat the hospitality or price. Didn’t use any facilities other than elec so can’t speak to condition.
Report Check-Init's an excellent place to have electricity, water, showers and toilets for 20$, the women was very welcoming ! we will definitely return at this place if we are near Bowie !
Report Check-InIt’s true, I got the rate of $10 for dry RVing. The two ladies (one around 95 years old and still very capable), are super kind and want the best for you. It’s very basic and alot of snowbirds. There is also snake holes where I had parked, so maybe check before you do. My pull through spot wasn’t level. The bathrooms are very old, and grimey, but not as horrid as everyone makes it sound, maybe I think that because I just spent 3+ months travelling across mainland Mexico… you will hear traffic noise from the highway but not as bad as the gas stations or rest areas.
Anywho it’s a good spot to leave the trailer and head to the Chiricahua mountain, 45 mins away. I was able to check out at 5pm. These ladies are super flexible!!! All in all, happy to have found this place, cute goat and amazing sunset!!
Report Check-InRV park right off the interstate. We stopped to ask if we could fill water and dump, and the answer is "yes" for $10. Sold! Linda was really nice and very helpful. If we weren't in a hurry to cross the country, we would have considered staying the night, and would consider a night stay if we're in the area again.
Report Check-InIt’s a nice place for a one night. Linda is very nice. I was able to do Landry .
A little bit of nose but not a big issue. For 20$ full hookup it’s a good deal !
This is a great little place! Linda the host was very accommodating and helpful. What is not advertised is the dry camping area for $10 so after 5 days at Indian Bread Rocks we were able to stay a night do laundry and take showers. Bathroom locks for single use with toilet. Cheap not fancy :)
