We found the place straight away as the route was now clearly signposted. A very nice welcome from Ambrosio, who went out of his way to find us a suitable pitch, where he provided us with electricity and enough shade at almost 40 degrees. He also offered us some tropical fruit (caimito) we had just picked to try. Very, very nice indeed. We still enjoyed using the pool in the heat, as well as the showers that were included in the toilets. The green garden is very well maintained, but the pitches are on the adjacent parking lot on earthy ground. You can relax here very well during the week. Maybe avoid Sundays as lots of locals come to spend the day at the pool. The only negative thing is that you can hear the highway which is not far from here.

Nice family, but they wanted to charge 400p for 2 adults 2 kids under 5. Pool looked nice, but it was a Sunday and they were having a 300 person pool party and the grounds were gross. Nowhere to camp except the parking lot due to the party. Tons of empty cans everywhere, only outdoor showers without privacy, and two bathrooms for everyone. Kitchen full of garbage and smelled rotten. They would not budge on the price.

Very pleasant family run campground with lush grounds, large well maintained pool and plenty of shade to park and rest in your chair. Limited bathroom + outdoor showers beside pool, vehicle power hook up available upon request. Extremely accommodating and hard working family, Spanish speaking only. Great place to chill and relax but bring your supplies with you as despite outdoor kitchen no cooking or “ cerveza” services offered. Plenty of parking space available but limited vehicle size due to street access. We managed with two rigs at 24 feet long and 12 feet high but anything bigger will be pushing your luck. It took us a while to find the place hence attaching map picture. Easy 5 min drive from highway once you’ve figured the directions - driving south on Carr. Federal turn right on C.15 then left on C.12. Turn left into nondescript private driveway right past the first “ tope “ and you’re there.

This camping spot cannot be found in a bizarre area. There was also no sign to be found. Maybe the coordinates are too imprecise. We left this area.

il faut prendre un chemin/ruelle pour accéder à l'emplacement.
Place très tranquille, nous étions 2 VR et c'était parfait, on fait comme à la maison. la piscine est très agréable, grande, peu profonde et propre.
le stationnement est sur le terrain a côté. petit jardin paisible.

Very quiet place, we were 2 VRs and it was perfect, we felt at home. The swimming pool is very pleasant, large, very deep and suitable.
The station is located on the coast terrain. small peaceful garden.

good simple place for all sizes of campers. somewhat narrow access. but quite possible. The parking lot is large with shaded areas. all facilities can be used. no WIFI. very friendly owners. quiet and safe at night. toilet and showers; simple but clean. Peso 100/person.

I found the owner to be very friendly and helpful considering the other recent review, I had lost small metal bracket important to my camper and he was so kind to take me on his motorbike into town to get a new bracket made at a metal workshop he knew of.. 100 pesos per person per night for toilet, shower and swimming pool use, not suited for big rigs due to tight entry on street front

This was such a weird stay for us. We arrived on Saturday evening and everything seemed okay, place was quiet, nice pool, nice garden. Then a 1 am they (the owners) started blasting loud music. I complained and he is sorry but it is a special event. There was him and one other person there, then few people arrived throughout the night. Loud music then played ALL NIGHT and ALL DAY on Sunday.

I do not recommend this place if you want to rest and chill. This was one of the worst nights we had in Mexico…

We payed for two nights upfront and on the second night we needed some help from the guy taking care of the place. But he just ignored us and didn’t even come out of his house. He also didn’t even clean up after the day and there was a lot of trash everywhere on Monday morning (the guy was just sitting on the phone and then he jumped on the bike and left us alone on the campground).

great gem for camping. very close to campeche city. enclosed property with shower/ bathroom, pool and tables/chairs.

This place is still open! Pool is filled and bathrooms are working (although they are run down). There is a sign at the entrance of the road, just follow it to the end and the parking is in the right hand side.

The location is passed the coordinates on this app. Drive a little bit forward and you will see the sign. We really enjoyed this place, clean m, affordable and friendly and accommodating staff.

Lovely spot, once you find it. Position on iOverlander a little incorrect. There is a very faded sign nearby that helps you, but, the location is approximately 100m down a small side road running to the northeast of the stated location. The turn and venue would not accommodate big rigs. Full sized Sprinter probably the largest you'd want to try. Trucks towing big campers and big Class A/C RVs don't even bother.

Owner is very lovely and welcoming. Speaks minimal English. I was here during the week and was essentially alone, but on weekends the owner sometimes hosts events (weddings, etc) in his lovely big garden. This would definitely make the weekend a different experience than I had.

Has really fast WiFi (200mbps) at the reception area but it doesn't stretch to camper parking area, and there's no private space near WiFi for those wanting to work remotely. Showers are basic but clean. Pet friendly and reasonable cell reception. There is a tiny store for snacks about 300m walk away.

Over all, would definitely stay again.

It has a large pool and a grassy area with an animal. Very safe and quiet. The owner, Ambrosio is very friendly and welcoming. It's a nice ecotourism campground with a pool and big garden.
Has bathrooms, showers, WiFi.
Big rig friendly.
Prices varies between 80 and 150

Wish I had known about this place when I came in Campeche first!
