Casa Yee no longer sells propane. They have moved to this location. The new location is on route 1 north of Mulege right across from a SiX store. They still fill smaller tanks by dumping from a larger tank but have a valve to show the amount. In the past, they guessed when it was full.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
The gentleman's name is Victor. He is usually there Monday to Saturday. 11 till 2 pm. it 350 pesos for a 20 lb tank.
when you see the white van with flat tires Parked on the side of the road .. stop turn right and follow road to back area if lot. you will see him there..as the picture by another contributor depicts.
This place is super hard to find. It’s a few clicks south of Mulege on the right in a big empty lot. If you’ve reached the Pemex on the left you’ve gone too far.
The guy sits under a red canopy at the back of the lot.
No longer has propane here. The guy who was working at the garage said the propane guy wasn't working there anymore and had moved to these coordinates: 26.8893070, -111.9549510. We found him there under a red canopied tent.
Report Check-Inwent back the next day and the guy was not there...however, I tried again today at 1pm and he was there. Nice guy, if you can catch him 👍
Report Check-InI went here today to get a fill and he said "tomorrow 8am" so, I will try tomorrow. I am staying across from the lighthouse tonight so tomorrow works for me. hopefully he will be ready tomorrow.
