Description

Campground on the beach. 20$ a day for parking an rv and then you can be put on a wait list for a camp spot and get in by 2pm. No electric hook up site is 35$ and electric site 55$. It costs an additional 10$ to use the sani dump but potable water fill is freePay showers in the campground. 25¢ per minute, 50¢ to start. Controllable temperature: cold to hot. Nice bathrooms in same building. $2 will get you a nice 8-minute shower. There aren't many places on the coast from Santa Cruz to San Francisco to shower so this is a nice treat. Good luck.

nice campground next to the beach with hiker/biker site (7pp) - hot showers 25cent/minute and free wifi

Did not stay, was able to obtain a site last minute by the helpful booth employee via drive up, BUT camp host was rude before we even had both feet out of the camper van. So we forfeited the site (thankfully hadn't paid yet) and went back to our boondocking site from previous night.

Didn’t end up staying here because I didn’t make it in time (closes at sunset) and it was full (poor planning on my part) - but keep in mind there is a Venice beach lot and a dune beach lot. Dune beach is primarily day use I believe, Venice beach is where campground is.

Beautiful and clean state park that's got great amenities for rv/campervans: water, electricity, single bathrooms, paid shower. There are different rates the nearer you are to the water. The views are great but it can feel very exposed to other campers, so just bear that in mind. We came during winter season and were able to get a spot day of.

Just a few meters away from the beach. Walk in campsite for hiker&biker as well. Hot showers, potable water, food lockers.

Beautiful State Beach with campsite. We arrived without a reservation at 10am and were put on the waitlist for a campsite. Paid $10 to pull into the state beach parking lot. At 2pm they start checking in people with reservations and going through the waitlist. We had to take a spot with electrical hookups for $50 even though we didn’t need/use it- it was all that was left. The showers are quarter operated. The dump is $10. Water fill is quite nice and totally free. Overall felt a bit like we were nickel and dimed, but the location was beautiful, perfect for visiting the beach and just a 1 mile walk or ride into downtown.

As the other comments said, 25 cents a minute hot showers. Sneak in through the path and no one will bother you. BUT - there is no light in there. There’s only a skylight. You’re absolutely limited by daylight and I did bot account for that so I showered under the ambiance of my iPhone flash

Went on the wait-list with 4 people in front of us and still landed a spot! $35 with no hook ups. $10 to dump and filling water is free. Beach is so beautiful. Dog friendly- beach is not dog friendly

Campsite right by the lovely beach. $35/ night for a minivan with no hookup. Firewood is $15 a bundle! Showers are not free, you need quarters but there was nowhere to get any on the site. Toilets and showers not the nicest, but fine.

We arrived at 5pm on a Monday in October, no reservation and bagged the last available minivan /tent site. There were two other rv sites left.

No coin machine to be found so I had to go to the coin laundromat up next to CVS in town to get quarters, just an FYI

As described below, the showers cost $0.25 per minute. Must insert at least 2 quarters to start. Showers are clean. You can park for free along Kelly Ave, then it’s about a 5-10 minute walk to the campground.

Pay showers in the camp ground. 25¢ per minute 50¢ to start. Controllable temperature cold to hot. Nice bathrooms in same building. Signs posted that say registered campers only but no one is watching. I parked on the road outside of the state park for free then walked in, about 1/2 mile. $2 will get you a nice 8 minute shower. There isn't many places on the coast from Santa Cruz to San Francisco to shower so this is a nice treat. Good luck.
