Description

An awesome area. Didn’t encounter any other people, super close to the interstate, had amazing cell reception, scenery is gorgeous, quiet. Couldn’t ask for more!

Latest Check-Ins

This spot is absolutely worth it! I walked to all the spots in this area and this one is the best in our opinion. It’s a large parking area with room for multiple rigs. We had the whole place to ourselves for the first night and we joined by a couple others the second night. Good Verizon reception and easy to get to in our 2WD Promaster van. This spot looked deceptively muddy in March but it was all dry so we made it with no problems.

Report Check-In

As described previously, great spot with beautiful views of rolling hills and more. Road in was easily accessible when dry with a 2wd camper van. Some vehicle traffic during the day. Roughly 1/2 mile further down 68D there were signs about entering private property.

beautiful spot with use of the valley and sunset. I came in with a 24-ft low clearance RV pulling a covered motorcycle trailer no problem although I'm glad I did not meet anybody on the single lane road coming here. site is as described by others actually has three circular pull arounds so would readily support multi-vehicle group. super quiet. might be a little dicey getting out if it rains unless you have four wheel drive. Highly recommended...unless I'm going there that evening!

This is a very beautiful place with mountain and valley views- see pictures. There's a fire ring with cut firewood already in it- so nice. I built the fire ring up much taller as it is windy here. It's 20°F cooler here than at Pipeline BLM in Marana nw of Tucson.I found a relatively flat area with a great cliff view. I easily got our 25' Snowmobile Trailer-to-Tiny home conversion (towed with awd v6 suv) up the 2 mile road to the spot. We will be watching weather and fire forecasts closely. The campsite and road in would be treacherous and impassible when wet and muddy.
