Turn off San Javier highway, head west toward Comondu. Just over two kilometers up toward the first major uphill turn right (painted green rocks) drive a few hundred feet back. Nice, flat, and private for a night.
Many signs of hikers taking the trail. Drive past first green-painted rock on right just a few 100 feet then turn right at second green-painted cairn.

This is privately owned land and part of Rancho Viejo. The green painted trail is just one of the senderos marked on this ranch.
If you wish to camp or hike here, you should drop-in to Rancho Viejo and either chat with Tista and Chari or at least put some pesos in the caja provided at the ranch itself.
Depending on the size of the party, 50-100 pesos is good for hikers.
The green-marked trail marks a route generations old into the Sierra. Eventually, one will come to a spring high in the mountains...
