We stayed in the parking across from the building to Charco Verde reserve for free. We left the reserve after the building closed, slept peacefully all night and nobody said anything the next morning when we left around 10.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.

The reserve is beautiful and we enjoyed a nice walk around the lagoon with the butterflies and the howler monkeys. However, I am writing this review to warn people off from the restaurant here. Absolutely horrendous food and service. These people should be ashamed of themselves.
Report Check-InWe spent one night here before leaving the island with the ferry. Very quiet and away from everything. Flowers, birds and monkeys around. We asked permission to sleep here at the nearby hotel and they simply said ok. It is right across from the Parque Ecologico Charco Verde office. There are clean toilets with tp that were open all night. Perfect for a FREE spot !
