Pouring rain so pulled in. Good spot to rest or sleep. There are picnic areas and dog walking areas. Trucks, campers and other travelers here. Seems safe enough.
Report Check-InThis is such a nice, quiet, spacious rest area! Yes, there are signs posted that say "No Overnight Parking" with signs that say unattended vehicles will towed. That doesn't mean you can't REST/SLEEP here! We had a lovely night with a handful of other vans and lots of RVs and semis. We'll definitely stay here again before venturing back into Florida.

Just called and spoke with woman in the Visitors Center.
When asked if we could overnight in our RV she said “No, you can’t”, but of course she is going to say that.
We stayed here in the past and there were plenty of people in cars, RVs on truck side. No one had any problems. They just don’t like it looking like a shelter.
Cleaning staff didn’t bother us at all, but since there are signs up and it is questionable this year maybe (?) PLEASE respect it wholeheartedly.
Nice spot to stay overnight. Pretty quiet since it sits off the highway a bit and has trees to buffer the noise.
Report Check-InPulled off, leaving Florida in route to PA. Got situated around 2am and slept til 6am on a Saturday morning. Not bad at all. Traveling with dog, plenty of walking area. Would stay again.
