3pp plus rig- really nice to set camp next to the river in the jungle// hiking & exploring full!
…. But about the toilet we do not wanna speak…

I paid 3,50 dollars for the entrance and 3 dollars for camping as an international person.

You can camp near the entrance under the palapa or 2 other campspots. One campspot is a small hike of 10 minutes. The other 30 minutes hike. Since it was rainy season, the lady recommended to stay under the palapa/gazebo next to the entrance instead of the official camping spots. Dry during heavy rain! It’s next to the quiet road and parking.

It’s not recommended to camp next to the waterfalls and pond in the rainy season, you might wash away. Same goes for tent camping at the parking except the palapa, which is higher.

There is attendance of staff is from 08:00 till 16:00 and the barrier doesn’t look like it closed recently. So outside these hours, you might have a free camp spot. Just saying…

For ciclists, if you don’t want to camp at the palapa the first campspot is reachable by hike a bike. Just some stairs and a small watercrossing. Or you hide (and lock) your bike behind the building at the entrance when there is not staff to look after your things.

Had such a good experience I decided to camp two nights. The guy working at the entrance (Baran) was essentially my local guide and took me around the park and around town while explaining the history of the place.

Super awesome waterfalls with great bouldering along the walls. Quiet at night camping in the bamboo. (Also saw tons of great wildlife that Baran would identify for me).

Update: Not sure about pet friendliness, they have a sign that mascotas are not allowed, but we didn't raise the topic for our cat.

Price is now $5.75 per person for camping including the entrance (for foreigners, she asked me if we were nationals or foreigners). You can park in the parking lot between trees and next to the river, very quiet. Toilets close to the parking lot a desolate, with the door missing. Other than that a nice and quiet place.

Great little place to escape for a few days. Peaceful. Tranquil. Nice trails. Water rippling by. However- there is a troublesome entryway. At about 10 feet up it is narrow due to a tree and overhang. We slipped by with an inch to spare, but someone else did some serious damage! If you are more than 7.5” wide and 10” tall, think twice.

Camped in park entrance lot. 10$ for two of us in truck included park entry. No security at night but beautiful surroundings felt very safe. We enjoyed all of the short hikes in the morning before we headed out.
