Here is an official office for the NIC insurance for your car (National Insurance Corporation). If you are coming from Malawi there are no insurance counters at the border (or fake ones be careful), we drove to Mbeya and we were able to take a local third party insurance. They cannot issue COMESA but their office at Dar es Salam can. Price for one year of third party insurance is fixed to 118.000 Tanzanian shillings. It is close to the CRDB bank
