United States
A newer campground with many sites, most of which have electricity. Some have water as well. It costs us $33 per night! ($14 to use dump station if not using facilities for anything else.) The only unfortunate aspect of this park is that it is right next to I-25 so there is considerable road noise from the traffic. There are also a couple of walking paths around the ponds where there's a lot of bird life to be seen.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
LOTS of highway noise. Decent sized spots, lots of fishing opportunities, and newer facilities. The vault toilet was awful when I stepped inside, chose to avoid that.
Beware: The online paid camping reservation does NOT include the $10/day vehicle fee that they'll charge you for at the gate. I personally would rather have had an inclusive price when booking online than the surprise of having to pay more after already paying for a reservation
Not my favorite stop. Loud road noise. Toilets were disgusting when I went to check them out earlier. Haven’t been to the shower building yet. If it’s anything like the toilets, a match and some gasoline should clear it up.
Report Check-InWe pulled in late, left early so I have little to share. Lots of mushrooms and mosquitoes, ha ha.
Report Check-InLOTS of Freeway noise. Nice free showers. Wonderful walking paths around ponds. Reservations required.
Report Check-Inthis place is full of Karens and reservation only. they have a kiosk that you can pay at which we did, but its just for day use. the 14yo "park rangers" are cunts. this park is basically a retirement home for rich people in $250k+ RVs.
Report Check-InVery nice state park and lots of camp sites some with just electric and some with full electric and water. Very nice bathrooms with showers. Showers cost $0.75 for 4 minutes, $0.25 for each additional minute.
We arrived around 10pm and found it difficult to reserve/secure a site. There was a website and a number to make a reservation. The website said the campsites were walkup and couldn’t be reserved. When we called the number, they said there weren’t any sites available. We ended up just pulling in to a site and paying the ranger in the morning when he was doing his rounds.
FYI you ALSO need a park pass.
