Description

Found this restaurant with a camping area on the Ruta de Panoramica. It was probably some of the best hospitality I have had in a while. The owner Brenda speaks very little English but loves practicing with you. There are clean toilets plus she let us use the hot shower in the cabaña that is currently being built. The bathroom in the cabaña is probably the nicest bathroom I've used in all of Central America. Brenda also gave us 2 big bags of her coffee that she grows and roasts herself as well as offered to take us to the beach at the lake if the road was in good condition. It sadly was not that day so we didn't go. There is a large grassy area where you can pitch a tent with swings. The pupusas and yuca Frita at the restaurant are delicious. I didn't look at the price breakdown of my bill but for the food, two drinks and the camping for two people it was $24. She also said that there usually is wifi but the router wasn't working that day.

Wouldn’t recommend this place if you have a dog! There are four here and our docile doodle got attacked by the owners two pitbulls and when I stupidly tried to pull one off it got me too. It was scary!
Otherwise the place seems fine -
I just wanted to warn to be extra cautious if you have dogs as I didn’t see that in any other comments here mentioning the owners dogs can be aggressive towards other dogs.

Beautiful place and friendly hosts! We parked on the grass and had amazing views from our rooftop tent. Toilet building is outside and the shower is inside the main building. There are friendly dogs, cute ducks, chickens and a rooster roaming around.

Wow, what a lovely welcome that you get when you arrive. Brenda is an amazing host; she does everything she can to make you feel at home. As said, she lets you use showers in the cabanas that are being built. The bathrooms are clean with a seat and toilet paper. The restaurant has great food and the atmosphere and vistas are outstanding. Camping is $5.00 per person. The WhatsApp phone number is 503-7648 6033.

Stayed here two nights. Host Brenda was really great. when I arrived here there was a birthday party so the place was quite busy but by late evening they were all gone. The place is big enough with great views that it's not a big deal. On weekdays it's quite like anything.
Brenda can also help do your laundry if you need it. There is a minimal charge for a load. Food in restaurant is great too.

Warm welcome, they let us use the shower inside the house - very nice. ;) The property is well maintained and further away from the street.

We camped on the grass in front of the the property, not in the gravel parking lot. Decent place for Starlink as well.

The restaurant is closed Monday and Tuesday but they were kind enough and made us some pupusas.

The only source of noise has been a nearby rooster 🐔.

Endroit vraiment tranquille. 5$ pp, mais il n'y a plus de douche disponible pour le moment. Ce serait en construction. Toilettes propres et site enchanteur. Nous y avons passé deux nuit. Le restaurant est délicieux et abordable. La propriétaire est vraiment très gentille.

Really quiet place. $ 5 PP, but there is no more shower available at the moment. It is under construction. Clean toilets and enchanting site. We spent two nights there. The restaurant is delicious and affordable. The owner is very nice.

Such a lovely spot. $5 to camp and like all have mentioned Brenda is so sweet and fun to chat with. The hospitality and service of the restaurant are super great, when I arrived on the motorcycle they immediately served me a glass of water, it was such nice service! There are also nice big tables to work, dogs and bunny’s on the property and overall wonderful vibe. The road it’s off is also such a pleasant road to ride and a few nice lookout spots in the area, check out Mirador San Francisco (also waterfall Salto de La Periquera nearby easily accessible (no water during dry season)).

This was a really lovely place to camp, and like others have said, especially because of how sweet the host Brenda is. I tent camped on the grassy lawn of the restaurant, for $5 or something like that. My motorcycle was close by and the property is locked overnight. I was also allowed to use the shower in the main house, which had great hot water. Brenda brought me a walkie-talkie just in case I needed anything in the night, which was really sweet! The pupusas here were also excellent, and they added a little rum to my hot chocolate. Really one of the best camping experiences in El Salvador.

We had to stay only one night and stayed 3.
$10 per night
This place is beautiful. It is a restaurant parking but it is also a farm and private house of a family. Brenda Carlos and Jonathan are very dedicated. It’s not just a boondock, it’s also an extraordinary human experience.
In addition, the restaurant is of very high quality but has lower prices. From the bathroom are accessible and very clean. It is possible to use the shower inside the Private house. They told me that soon a shower will be accessible more easily. They also intend to expand the parking lot and put electricity into it.
