Description

Various wild camping areas in Winema National Forest. Not sure if it is allowed but judging by the number of tracks and firepits it happens a lot. Totally remote and quiet.

Lots of options over here, t-mobile 5g three bars, quite, leveled. Good location for one night

Report Check-In

We took NF-1390 off of Hwy 138 to find a nice level spot with a clear view of the northern sky for Starlink reception. Very pretty but the biting flys were on us immediately. We stayed in our van and watched a movie!

As described. Nice level spot that’s like a large looping turnaround. Nice sunset view through the trees

T-Mobile 2-3 bars and actually surprisingly usable! Unlike some of those places where it will say 3-4bars LTE but actually have zero reception. I don’t understand why T-Mobile sucks so bad.

The bad part I wanted to mention was that the mosquitoes were swarming and just perching along my mirrors and window base. Open your door for a couple seconds and you’ll have a dozen in your vehicle!

An absolute gem of a place! Follow the dirt road down straight and you’ll come to the lot on the right.. I stayed Saturday- Monday and there was absolutely no one else, just deer and other critters. Never even heard another car. Such a great spot with 3 bars of LTE (spectrum) the whole time and a nice level spot.

Report Check-In

Great spot and better spots. Stayed in a pull off one of many. One with a fire pit with plenty of firewood to scavenge for. Road gets a little thin further down. Phone service, open view of the sky, and saw enough people to feel safe but private enough to be left alone. 7/10 Would stay again.

Report Check-In

Great quiet spot right off the highway. Stayed here for one night, arriving at sundown and leaving at sunrise. Beautiful spot for stargazing! Only one other RV but far enough away from us. No road noise though a bit dusty in the dry summer.

Report Check-In

Nice spot, room for at least 4-6 vans/smaller RVs

Report Check-In

Nice spot far enough away from the road. There was only one other person here when we came, otherwise plenty of room for multiple rigs. Road coming in was pretty rough at times. Wouldn't recommend after a rainfall. Good Verizon reception.

Report Check-In

large rig accessible. no services. att has 3 bars

This is a boondock site. We pulled a 28ft in without issue. AT&T has 3 bars. Plenty of room to turn around. Very quiet and peaceful.

Report Check-In

Large pull out, about 200 yards off the main road. Good place to spend the night and far enough to not hear much road noise. Full bars Verizon network.

Report Check-In

explored a bit deeper into the turnout and discovered a great fire pit but also a lot of trash (hairspray, a golf club bag & empty quarts of oil?!). Saw a lot of wildlife while cleaning up and slept great!
