Description

... A very interesting place, with a separate entrance to the south from the free camping beach. It is signed at the roadway saying 'welcome, birdsong'. It's in a grove of bushy trees, so there can be a number of folks camped, but they're fully out of sight from each other and the road, though the road is close, so yeah, there's traffic noise from the highway.
... There is a lovely little palapa here, and some interesting rock mounds, which have been very carefully built. They seem to have a vibration of spirituality to them. In the hills behind there is a large cavern showing, which you can see from the beach... I'd be interested to explore.
... There is a section just to the south, where the beach is more pebbles rather than large stones.

Latest Check-Ins

We went to the end and parked our teardrop on the beach next to the trees and the now falling down palapa. We spent a couple of nights. The traffic noise wasn't terrible and the trees kept us fairly protected from the winds. As described, it is a beautiful site with cool rock stacks and lots of birds. There is the open well to be cautious of, so beware of you have children or pets. We picked up all the trash we could and restacked some of the rocks around the trees giving the place a much neater, cleaner appearance. We even re-erected the fallen sign the read "Mis recuerdos mio alegrias esten lugar. Conserva limpia esta playa en memoria de Louis Gonzales Aerreola"
Seems only right to keep the beach neat and clean. Thanks Louis.
