Report Check-InWe arrived late at night and we parked in the salar just in front of the gate. Next morning we woke up early to see the sunraise and we went with our 2WD motorhome to see the ojos del salar and the mirrors (there is no chance to get lost because the path is marked by other car steps) There was no one so nobody asked for money.
Report Check-InGood for one night. Quiet and a little cold. There's a fox there that's used to being fed. Watch your dogs ours chased the fox almost onto the road. Did not pay for a tour as it AR8000. In the morning we were able to walk to the pools on the left hand side no problem.
Report Check-InGood place to spend the night. We arrived around 4, visit the pools and slept here. People until around 8pm. In the morning no one until 8:30. There is restroom open until 7pm for $100.
Report Check-InWe prefer to sleep on this parking as you are closer to the “pool”. Beautiful sunset and sunrise (no wind in the morning to fly the drone). We left at 9am and couldn’t pay as there was nobody.

Amazing spot for MH: if you arrive at afternoon and ask the local guides to stay for the night, you'll experience one of the best bush-camps ever, in an out of the world landacape, night sky full of stars like nowhere... no words can explain what it is to experience a night at the Salinas. enjoy!!!!
Report Check-InGreat spot to enjoy a sunset and very quiet at night other than the odd passing vehicle. The site is completely empty by 20:00. The only noise came from the occasional passing truck.
Report Check-Incool place to stay in the middle of the Salinas. nobody AT night. we put the Kombi behind the middle 'shop' to be protected from the wind. people arrived at 9am the day After
Report Check-InStayed one night, they all left around 20h and we were alone, few trucks in the night and exactly as said in the morning the turist arrived.
Report Check-Inperfect location, we didnt had wind. salers leave around 19:30 but some traffic of miners living the salars at 20:30. they didnt notice us or didnt care. nobody untill 9:00 in the morning so perfect for sunrise!!
