Hotel is closed for covid and there is a small sign saying no camping which we didn’t notice until a local pointed it out the next morning. We felt like this was the surfer guide mentioned before so didn’t take much notice. We asked the hotel owner if he minded which he didn’t but he said the municipality did and later on another local (friendly and a little apologetic) asked us to leave the next morning. Don’t think this is a covid thing, they just don’t want campers overnight so best given miss.

The Hotel is closed now, due to the pandemic. They put up a "no camping" sign, so i am not sure if this place is still fine to spend the night. We did not stay.

Spent here 3 nights next to the hotel, very quiet at night (free). No shade. Great place if you are into surfing, fast right hand wave everyday (at least while we were there mid February, apparently gets bigger during wet season).

be aware! Surf guide wasn’t happy about me parking next to the Hotel with my bus. My bus is fairly big though. Stayed one night! You can still use amenities at the hotel as said before. I will not stay there again the surf guide spreads a super bad vibe and tries to protect his surf break.

Wow. What a find. This beach is fantastic for boomdocking. No services. Barely any cell
Signal and closet Town about 15 minute drive to copalita. Be sure to check out massages with Kathaleen. Ask for her at the hotel. She has a studio just down the beach and has 25 years experience. Worked for
CMH heli-ski so she KNOWS what’s she’s doing!!!!!!

We had a dental emergency here and ended up staying over a week to get s new crown in huatulco. Dr willfreddy Marin in Bahía Chahue. Great guy and cheap. $335 US for everything.

Lots of dogs in Mojon so be aware. Entire community is off grid so be prepared for being stocked up with water and supplies before arriving

Taxis from copalita will
Come and pick u up for transport to Town or hualtulco. $250 mex to hualtulco.

We arrived after several days of rain, the ocean had wood and mud.
The place is nice, the waves are big.
Marco the owner of the hotel was a good man. No problems of parking outside, and let us use the shower of the pool.
Same prices as described in others comments!

Dirt road is still in good condition. At this spot is no reasonable space for parking available. Only some small places on properties, so you have to ask for permission. We didn't stay. Spended two nights at the trailer parking, playa tangolunda.

2 km on durty road to beach but it is good. A bealtiful place you can park 10 meters to sea. There is a hotel that rent bathroom (5 pesos) and showers (10 pesos). Safe and quiet. Surfistas during the day. Hotel sale some drinks, water etc.
