Something not right?

Description

A new Place run by Rachel and Trevor, expats from USA. Very friendly people who welcome Overlanders. The place is near the Sea, they rent kayaks, building a dorm also at the moment. Also a kitchen and different other things. Construction is going on at the place. So things can change very quickly!
At the moment there is one space at the entry for a 20-25 foot rig. We had a really nice stay with nice and friendly people.
There is a cold shower, you're allowed to use the kitchen. They charge 4 dollar per person...I think kids are free!

Beautiful little hostel in the jungle right by the lake. We parked in the driveway and stayed in a private room for $20. Possibility to camp in hammocks under a palapa ($4) or probably sleep in a car as well. Only running by solar power so very authentic experience in the jungle. Food is really lovely and they do communal family dinners every night. Dogs are really welcome and in the room also. Really recommended.

Camper van not welcome. They look to cool to be stressed out when you arrive. No common areas. We arrive and they didn't even try to help. No place for an IOverlander in a camper van. Instead I ask Blanca the lady that leaves in front to let us park in her property and she let us, sadly our van didn't fit thought her little entrance. If you made it here and wouldn't like the happy vida then camp in Blancas and paid her something just to help.

Rachel and Trevor's hostel in located in a quiet part of the island just 50m from the lake. Kayak rentals, restaurant, and guided tours (24h advanced notice). We enjoyed vey much our stay and company in this beautiful place. Howler monkeys hang around the property. A great place to unplug and experience a little bit of the simple sweet island way of life. Currently there's space for 2 mid size rigs.
