Mexico
Getting here at dusk this place was recommended by local shop keeper. 150 MX$ for one person room, bucket shower, no WiFi, thin blanket, no staff about to request extra bedding. Water not potable.
Numerous eateries in town. Space in secure yard for vehicles only positive.
There are other options to stay in town, any of them should be better than this place.

The hotel gate is unlocked and so you can park there first if you like, but you'll need to go about 2 blocks east on the same street to find the check-in spot. It's a little shop on the ground floor of a blue, two-level building. It's on the north corner (look for the public bathroom sign). Very friendly folks there. I paid 150p for one night.
Report Check-InWe arrived late morning and asked for a hotel and were directed to a shop, where Carlos booked us in. Two people two nights 500 mex pesos. The room is spotless. 3 beds. All have extra blanket. Big ceiling fans to keep the room cool. Toilet with bucket shower, works a treat! Place to wash clothes. Cool courtyard to relax in. Quiet overnight. Cannot praise Carlos enough. He offered his help if we needed it and he has helped with so much information. Lots of little shops, restaurants, bank and ATM nearby.
