Arrived at 4:00PM and the gate near this pin was locked for the night (perhaps they close earlier during the rainy season or just that day on account of an afternoon rain storm). Spent the night in this little “pull-out” on the dirt road (if you can even call it that) just big enough for my Promaster van. Quiet and peaceful, no one around until 8AM the following morning to open the gate. Had the park all to myself initially. Road from here down is a little dicey with ruts, etc. Made it ok with 2WD van, but experience is merited. Great place to visit.
