a pulloff right off Alamo rd. Alamo rd is unpaved so there were not a lot of cars going by. some cars went by late in the afternoon and some in the morning, but at night it was quiet. did hear shooting in the distance in the afternoon, but that also stopped once it got dark, it's from the Nike W10 Missile site most likely. Perfect Tmobile TG signal.

Great Boondocking! Flat pull offs with fire rings. Watch for red flag fire warnings. Venturing too far back the road leads to a disappointing area where people dump their trash. Otherwise, excellent!
Report Check-InGreat spot. Lots of pull off and fire pit options. Farther up road the more clearance you need. No services. Good cell reception. Unfortunately lots of trash. Please carry out
Report Check-InClean large camping spot. Some traffic on the road. The road in is smooth and passable for any vehicle. This site is large enough to fit a couple vans, a class A, or a travel trailer set up.
Report Check-InRoad in great shape. Park ranger stopped by and introduced himself the afternoon we arrived - very friendly interaction. More traffic on the road that we expected but not problematic. A lot of trash - it looks like someone had a mental breakdown and threw out the entire contents of their camper :( Gunshots from the informal range up the road barely audible.
Report Check-InRoad going into spot is a bit rough but nothing a normal vehicle can’t handle second polack was where I stayed and it was very quiet and beautiful. The cows outside the van.
Report Check-InEasy to find, very quiet night, no one drove by till around 8am the next morning, lots of wind
Report Check-InBeautiful stay here. Stayed a total of three nights. Very quiet. I didn't hear the shooting that other people have mentioned. Not a lot of traffic going by at all - especially when I pulled off the main road a bit - keeping in mind that the main road is a gravel road that is not highly utilized. Plenty of spots around to explore. Great T-Mobile internet and coverage. Level ground. Very easy road to get in and out. Highly recommended! Gorgeous sunsets!
Report Check-InYou will drive down the road about a mile until you find the first spots. The road is fairly maintained. Felt safe. Back in there trash has gathered likely from a storm. Good signal strength for Verizon.

Good cell coverage from the towers on the Mesa. Pretty sunsets and sunrises. This is dispersed camping. Must be self contained and pack out everything. please follow Leave No Trace Principles.
Report Check-Inan easy flat pull off area on the left side of Alamo Rd. I built a fire pit .. hope someone enjoys it. hard to find big rocks. lol. beautiful spot to see sunsets
Report Check-Ina little bit of traffic until about 10pm. Wind picked up because you're on a plain but the view is great. great att service.
Report Check-InNice little pull off on the left. Beautiful wide open skies and pretty quiet other than the few cars that drive past (usually going very fast so keep your fur babies on leash). Great Verizon reception too!
