Mexico
This is the entrance to the trail, the location on iOverlander further down the road is the exit. You will NOT need a guide to hike this even all guides will tell you otherwise. Dense jungle, hidden ruins, birds and monkeys. Muddy after rain!
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
T is included in the entrance to the NP. If you still have energy, you can also do this small hike. The entry is right near the parking lot for the Palenque ruins. There is no sign, just a guy with a clipboard. Take a foto of the map.
Nice but nothing spectacular. Not very busy.
Report Check-InNice walk in the jungle (around 4km), you can go until the source of the small river and see some ruins. To come here you have to pay the national park ticket (104,5 pesos per adult, children are free), this ticket is for 5 days so you can do the walk one day and visit the ruins next day.
