Nice little campground. The set up is a little odd, in that sites with electric come equipped with rudimentary fire rings, while the tent sites have picnic tables and grills. For the price, I would think each site would have its own table. The placement of the fire rings is odd too. The ones on either side of me are each closer to the sites on either side, which is awkward. I did have a very peaceful night's sleep, and appreciated the free laundry.

Beautiful hidden get away. Small 16 spots. Has a great little walkway that leads to treehouses that can be rented. Quiet. TMobile 3 bars. Right on the river, away for any car noise. $25/ night, all amenities. I rented a back in but there are pull throughs for larger RVs. Will definitely stay here again when in NC.

A little jewel.
Book online. All services, very quiet. we were 3 RVs. A walking platform follows the river for 1000 feet, many birds.

Yep. Hard to believe this one wasn’t in the mix until recently. Great campground; a real sleeper; pun intended. Very private, very quiet. Sites well spaced and seems most campers here as I write are low-key long terms that stay inside their rigs. Walked to the greasy spoon restaurant in town for fried chicken dinner: $5.99. Fell asleep listening to the frogs. There’s also some really cool cabins/cabanas on the boardwalk built high and overlooking the river for $65 a night.
