Amazing view from the Campsite, friendly staff. They offered shower with hot water and a toilet from a room. The road to the place is a bit rough but worth it for the breathtaking view.

The parking lot for camping is not really level, but you will find a solution for that.

laid back place for pitching your tent. view is really nice. friendly staff. manager is pretty much into cycling 😎
just be aware that it takes time to go to city and back because the main gimmick of this location is, that it's up on the hill.
Camped a night with our rooftop tent. Very limited flat surface. What it doesn't give you in flatness, compensates with a beautiful view of Kisumu city. We could hear movements of cars for most of the early evenings (from the Kakamega highway) but settles down in the later hours. We paid Kshs 1000 PP. We can't speak of their food or breakfast because we were only transiting. Don't worry about the shadiness of the access. Yes, that's the road.
Report Check-InVery cool place. Relaxing with amazing view on the lake and city. Make sure to take north road to get here through RIAT University. Google will take you throug adventurous track in the south. Quite steep and rocky
