what a nice place with good vibes thanks to Wilfried.
clean and big room. TV, mosquito net, hot shower, soap, toilet paper, bottle of water, confortable bed, safe parking up to 2,4m.
Breakfast included and quite big : selfservice with 2 eggs, bananas, avocado, hot milk, coffee, bread, margarine. 20000 TZS for 2 people for the room.
For bigger rigs, we asked to Wilfried and no problem to park in front of his home (security man at night) and camp for 10000 TZS per truck.

Great basic place to stay before or after crossing the border. You can't beat the value still 20,000 for two of us in a basic room. Peter is a wonderful warm host. Simple breakfast in the morning secure parking in a small courtyard Would fit rigs up to 2.4 m high. Very noisy corner during the day but quiets down at night.

A lovely last stop before leaving Tanzania. Both Peter and Wilfred are incredibly welcoming and hospitable people. Price still the same. Very comfortable stay. Really nice to be able to use some of the kitchen utensils and eat at a dining table. Recommended!

I agree with everything said before. There is a kitchen with microwave, rice cooker and 2 plate gas stove, and a sink where you can wash dishes. I asked about local food and Peter took us to a restaurant down the road where 1kg of pork and "bananas" (I think actually plantains, they were not sweet) fed 3 of us, and cost only Tsh9000. the room is still Tsh 20 000 and has a very comfy double bed with a mosquito net in addition to the netting on the window. Excellent tiled en suite bathroom with shower and toilet.

Totally agree with what has been said before. You get real value for money when it comes to the room and the facilities. But besides that Wilfred is such a friendly and welcoming person. He made sure everything was comfortable for us and he drove us around in his car (because we have no backseat) to see the waterfalls, his plantations and the market. The surroundings are beautiful and worth a visit anyway. So just stay a night if you pass by. It was lovely to see that Wilfred has earned a lot of respect in the community. He enjoys having guests visiting his place and to chat with them. You can park behind the gate. We managed the height with our car+ rooftoptent, so think it is between 2.30/2.40 high. But Wilfred said he could lift something if it wouldn't fit. Or else he probably finds an other solution for you 😊.

Wilfred, the owner, is a really special guy and speaks good English. He drove me to the market the first day I arrived. When I had to go to Mbyea to buy bike parts he spoke with the bus driver for me to make sure I got to where I needed to go. 20,000 TZS for room big enough to fit bicycle

This is a basic guesthouse, still under construction - but the rooms are ready. They are basic but clean and spacious. The manager provided us with hot water whenever we asked for it to have a hot shower. Still 20000 for the room - little basic breakfast included. We were also allowed to use the kitchen.

Wilfred the owner is a very special person - for us the time we spend with him made our stay to something unforgettable. He showed us his farms, went with us to the village market, walked with us to a beautiful waterfall and invited us for dinner. We never expected to get to know such a interesting, helpful and warm person on our first day in Tanzania.

Indeed a very nice place! Definitely good value for the price. Room is big, clean and well equipped. Staff super friendly! The owner even drove 10km to just say goodbye as he wasn’t around when we left.
