Something not right?

Description

A free public beach with bathrooms and outdoor showers. We asked at the info booth if we could stay the night and they said 'no problem'. Can’t park on the beach but we are at the end of the sand parking lot right next to the beach. I wouldn’t think anything bigger than 30 foot would fit here. I recommend coming in the late afternoon or early morning when cars are not here for day-trippers.

Supposed to be good snorkeling here and we will find out in the morning. No Overlanders here but we are very near a hotel or condo complex so it feels very safe.

Fairly quiet. Butwe can hear some live music which is actually nice.

don't stay overnight with a 7 meter motorhome. much to small. in respect for the rv community.

We were hoping to stay here but dogs aren't allowed so that was a bummer. There was a lifeguard. FYI flush toilets were out of service and there were porta potties. Nice beach.

This is definitely not a good place to spend a night in a van. You are surrounded by 5* hotels everywhere you look at. Who would like to sleep there ?! Fortunately we were there early so we could move from this golf car city 🤣

No parking space at 3pm during the week, very small parking, be prepared, we had to leave

Good and free place! But Saturday and Sunday is very very busy!
Really is safe!
The beach is beautiful!

luxury free camping, I was semi stealth but had a quiet night, showers and toilets are off at 17:00 as mentioned. Access to fresh water, toilets, portable toilets and the beach in a fairly secure location (ever hotel has a security guard and there's cameras in and out of the whole area). I did laundry in the bathroom, could have done it at the fish cleaning area or the showers too, seems to be potable city water. went to Playa Thule to dry the laundry though wasn't about to press my luck by setting up my clothes line.

As described earlier, except for us the showers stopped working at around 17:00. Next morning was working again. A handful other overlanders. Porta potties. Beautiful beach and even though we were there on a Friday night pretty quiet at night.

Gorgeous ! Part a posh community. We are blessed to have the privilege to park here with no issues . White sandy beach , palapas, walking paths out of a tropical fantasy . Wow! Come early - before 9 or after 5 if you want to park here. Busy place! Oh and if you’re not an early riser you may not enjoy . Lots of staff starting with here at 7am And you need to be stealth .

As advertised. No dogs allowed so went to costa azul.

Free and beautiful, away free highway noise.
Like one says previously, it’s just before prive club 96. Google map will send you too far, so if by night, be alert.

Stayed here 2 nights. Felt super safe. Beach gets pretty crowded on weekends. Outdoor showers, but not allowed to use shampoo or soap as the water drains into the sand and not a drain.

We slept in the parking lot after asking at the information desk and it was fine. Clean restrooms in the building close at 6pm. Picnic tables with shade, outdoor showers, playground for kids, palapas, nice beach :) there is even recycling bins! Good cell reception

Decent spot. Portapotties and trash + recycling bins. This beach access area is in the middle of a bunch of resorts, hotels, etc. so it feels pretty safe.

Unfortunately construction adjacent to the site started around 830am. No big deal as we were already up but it might wake you if you're a late sleeper.

We arrived late and are planning to hang around for a beach day. Good spot if you need a place near SJ, and it's a straight shot to get here on the toll road from the airport.

Entrance is clearly marked, though Google maps tried to lead us past it.

Stayed 1 night no issues whatsoever. Beautiful sunrise in the morning. If we wanted to stay longer, we could have for sure.

very good spot. beach showers. toilet. beautiful snorkel spot also. hard pack sand parking. calm.

Snorkeling is not as good as at Santa Maria but the spot to park out is better. We stayed two nights with no issues.
