Description

The hotel is run by a very friendly US man, Robbie. At the back entrance is a nice grassy field with trees and a gate that's locked at night. 5 camper places fully hooked up. Nice for tents as well.
We recommend this place.
$15 p night. safe and quiet. Walking distance to the harbour where you can take the boat to Ometepe (wonderful).

Very good place! very well equipped for RV! Very clean and the bar seems very well stocked!

Quiet, silent place, with good infrastructure, and it's safe, we just found it very expensive. There is a bathroom, shower, water, electricity, Wi-Fi, we pay US$15.00 per car. We arrived at night and had to negotiate to leave late in the afternoon, because checkout is at 11:00am.

Awesome find. Robbie the owner & staff that run this place are kind & helpful. As mentioned in other posts there are 5 flat spots for rigs to camp. Concrete tables, dish washing station, electric, lights & banos with good shower. Banos are new & cleaned everyday. All for only $15 usd a night!! Nice little bar/restaurant & it’s a good vibe here. Quick walk to playa & ferry. I highly recommend this location. Great spot to rest & reset during a long trip. Quiet at night & huge gate is locked at night.

We stayed here for a total of 8 nights and we left our truck parked for two nights during that time while we visited Isla Ometepe with our ATV. Good place to do some maintenance work. All as described - if you have a big rig with over 3.50m in height, pay attention to google directions - it's better to pass the Hotel on the front street and then take two left turns to get to the back entrance then taking the back road all the way down. They offer laundry service as well.

Very bad service. Owner lied to me to make me think I needed to stay longer. Not recommended

The reviews are correct, best campsite south of Mexico. Perfect setup for overlanders, power, showers, sink for dishes, flat sites with tables and lights. Everything is clean and a friendly staff and owner, all for $15. What more could you want?

Report Check-In

This place has electricity plug ins to charge van batteries but not powerful enough to run air conditioning directly. You park on a cement slab with a power plug water faucet ( not potable) table and barbecue grill. There is a public sink to wash clothes or dishes. There is a dump station and sparkling clean toilets and cold showers. Also a bar and restaurant on site. Follow the red RV Parking signs to the rear of the building to a wide tall entrance.
I don’t want to leave.

Report Check-In

As stated well equipped campground. Lights, grill, picnic table, electricity and water at each site. Shared clothes and dishwashing area undercover. Showers and bathrooms very clean. Seats, toilet paper and soap.
Trees offer shade all around the campground. Dump station by bathrooms.
Restaurant- do NOT order pizza if you want your pizza craving satisfied. It’s covered with American cheese and it’s soggy.

Very good place to stay one or two nights! Ronnie is very welcoming and friendly. We did a daytrip to the Ometepe island so we left our van at the campground. Perfectly safe. There are two restrooms with flush toilet and cold shower. They clean them daily. The coordinate is not right to the camping. As you arrive follow the red signs that guide to the backyard of the hotel.

still $15 the night, we were 2 adults and 2 kids. Great place! full recommended

We sleep just for one nigh. Internet very slowly. 15$ for us. 2 persons and 2 kids. If you don’t go to Ometepe island this is a walk place to go to port and see the volcanos.

Nós dormimos apenas por uma noite. A internet até tinha wi fi mas não estava funcionando. Tem 2 balanços muito legal pras crianças. Muitas árvores. Da pra deixar o carro e ir no Porto ver o vulcões “de perto”

Best camping we have ever seen! Each RV has its space, with energy, water, light, table, barbecue. Nice and flat. Still $15 for 2p + van.

Nice RV Park. 4 or 5 place for any kind of rig. toilets and showers very clean, WiFi not that fast but work good. The owner is very nice! 15$US is a bit expensive for us but ok.

Very nice and clean place with lot of space in between the trees. Paved spot to park. Clean bathroom with cold shower just for our family of five. We paid 15 dolars for a night.

Dink to wash dishes and doing laudry.

First off this place is ‘Big Rig’ friendly. As described above they have a back gate that can handle any size rig.
We stayed with Ronnie and his crew for a week for a couple of reasons. The hospitality of this place is incredible and you were made to feel at home.
We also left our truck here and took the ferry to Ometepe for a couple of days. When we arrived back our truck was in the exact same condition as we left it. The restaurant is very basic with good food.
For sure some great friendships were made during our stay.
Ronnie was starting a new development in the campground to expand and put in hydro, concrete pads and maybe water at each site.
Check it out.

definitely the nicer of all of the pins in the area. large gated property with lots of uneven parking spots. only one was flat and had water and 110v hookups immediately nearby and in the shade. The price is already 12 dollars... keys to the bathroom inside were included. it's not obvious from the outside, but the big empty lot next door belongs to this property and has its own entrance would accommodate any size rig. it's all flat and has a lot of trees. the arch is close to 5m high and probably that much wide. the American owner was oblivious to ioverlander and was at least interested in the idea of fixing up the big yard with same pads and utilities for travelers as it's currently not doing anything. dog friendly!

After „California Hotel“ didn’t accept Camper we asked here. The hotel is run by a very friendly US man. There is only one flat spot and the gate at the entrance is only about ca. 3,20 meter. We paid 10$ for the night, they gave us a key for the bathrooms with shower. You can eat and drink at the good restaurant.

We recommend this place.
