Excellent location for an overnight stay. Located right at the exiting state park sign. No cell services, a lot of traffic noise as it is right next to the highway. No signs posted, no one bothered us. site is fairly level. Beautiful views!!! Great Verizon service 3 bars with LTE
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Has a sign now as well, also explaining it's not allowed along the highway in general.
Report Check-InGreat views and no “no overnight parking” signs however we had a park ranger visit in the morning letting us know it was day use area only
Report Check-Instayed overnight with 5 other cars with no issues. not a super quiet spot, but traffic dies down around 10.

Great place to pull off during the day. A park ranger knocked on the window about 8:30am warning the area is an emergency pull off and cars aren’t allowed to be parked there longer than 12 hours during an emergency. Overnight camping/parking isn’t permitted otherwise. However this was one of very few spots along the 101 highway without signs stating that no camping or overnight parking allowed.
Pretty big pull off, ocean views, no signs saying no camping (other pull offs have designated “day use only” or “no camping” signs, busy highway but calms down around 7pm.
We parked and popped up our camper around 5pm, no other campers parked nearby. Amazing views!

Report Check-InI was stunned this spot wasn’t already marked on this app. This is a very big pull-off on right side when heading south on 101 around Manzanita — just before you head down the hill where you would take a right to the beach. There are three pull-offs on right side after you go through the tunnel on 101 south that all have no overnight parking signs. This one does not have any prohibitive signs. I stayed here three nights and nobody bothered me. A small RV stayed here all three nights too and we were joined by a car camper and small RV on the third night which was a Saturday. I didn’t hear any passing cars, but I’m used to city noise so it may bother some people. Remember though, this is Oregon so traffic quiets down shortly after dinner time. The views of the beach below are stunning. I had a strong enough Verizon signal to stream Netflix.
